Discover the course and teams for the Brussels Cycling Classic 2026
On Sunday, June 7, the peloton heads to the Cinquantenaire Park for a new edition of the Brussels Cycling Classic. With three passages over the Muur–Kapelmuur, Bosberg and Congoberg, it will once again be a question of which sprinters can survive the hilly section. Or will the attackers prevail all the way to the finish on Houba de Strooperlaan?
After a team presentation in the shadow of the imposing triumphal arch in the Cinquantenaire Park, the peloton will set off at 12:15 for a 206-kilometre route featuring ten climbs and one cobbled section. Passing through the provinces of Flemish Brabant, Walloon Brabant and Hainaut, the riders will head towards the local loop in Geraardsbergen and Pajottegem. They will complete this circuit three times, each lap including the climbs of the Muur–Kapelmuur, Bosberg and Congoberg.
The final ascent of the Congoberg comes with 47 kilometres still to go. The race then heads back towards Brussels. With 18 kilometres remaining, the riders tackle the cobbles of the Rosweg, shortly followed by the final climb of the day: Heiligekruiswegstraat. At around 17:10 we will find out who will be crowned the successor to Tim Merlier on Houba de Strooperlaan.
